A Passion For Garden Design

Deb is passionate about creating beautiful gardens. She has been designing stunning gardens over 20 years now.
Her career began when she graduated Top Design Student in 2003 from her Diploma of  Landscape Design at Auckland Unitec.

During that same year, Deb caught the eye of the television producers of My House My Castle, and was recruited to turn a backyard bog on Herald Island into a Jungle Oasis. Appearing on TV screens across the nation’s living rooms at 7pm each week for 10 weeks, Deb presented each episode, designed the garden, complete with pool and Fijian bure,  pushed the plans through council, and oversaw the construction and planting.

Upon completion, Deb’s concept garden became a popular wedding venue. Her career jettisoned from there to designing multiple residential gardens of size and complexity.

Deb’s own garden (front cover) was one of 25 private, professionally designed gardens featured in the Auckland
Garden Design festival in 2013. She exhibited a second client’s garden in the 2019 Auckland Garden DesignFest.

Deb has featured in numerous magazines, radio and television interviews.

Deb would love to help you realise your garden dream, be it your entire property, a front or back garden makeover,
an inspired courtyard, or to ready your home for sale.
